Our commitment to our local community runs much deeper than simply delivering end-to-end logistics solutions to businesses throughout the UK. Boasting a rich heritage of almost 100 years, and with 70% of our colleagues living in the local area – it’s only fitting that we support the charities and clubs that contribute to our vibrant local economy.
With that in mind, we’re incredibly proud to announce the continued sponsorship of the historic football team, Accrington Stanley, for yet another two seasons!
Our journey supporting Accrington Stanley
We first partnered with the team in 2016, having taken pride in the fact that the local football club is situated just a stone’s throw from our headquarters in Padiham.
But the connection runs deeper than geographic location. Instead, there’s a real personal and emotional involvement for many of our colleagues who have grown up in Accrington – and who have been lifelong supporters of the team, spending countless hours cheering on from the sidelines.
Chris Corrigan, Fagan & Whalley’s Brand & Marketing Executive, explains, “Since our foundation over 95 years ago, our commitment to placing people first in all that we do and maintaining our family-led values remains strong. It’s really great for us to work so closely with a team that shares this spirit.
